Recruitment for the engagement of apprentices in various trades such as graduate apprentices, diploma apprentices, and ITI apprentices & General Stream (Non-Engg). The main objective of this recruitment is to provide training to young and talented prospects to develop their skills and proficiency in various fields of engineering. DRDO provides exciting and challenging professional possibilities to work on defence systems, infrastructure & associated things in a large spectrum of subjects/disciplines at its extra than 60 laboratories/establishments/units unfold in the country. Online functions are invited for direct recruitment to the number of posts underneath the Admin and Allied cadre (A&A) as per Section-1below. Education Qualification:
- Graduate Apprentice (B.E./B.Tech./ Equivalent in following disciplines): A degree in engineering or technology granted by a statutory University/ by an institution empowered to award such degrees by an Act of Parliament
- Graduate Apprentice (General Stream): A degree granted by a statutory University/ by an institution empowered to award such degrees by an Act of Parliament / Educational Institutes established by a State Government / by an Institute recognised by the State Government or Central Government.
- Diploma Apprentice Trainees: A diploma in engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Educational established by a State Government / by a University / by an Institute recognised by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to a diploma.
- ITI Apprentice Trainees: A certificate in vocational Course involving two years of study after the completion of the secondary stage of school education recognised by the All India Council for Technical education.

Engineering Stream
- Graduate Apprentice (B.E./B.Tech./Eqvt.): Rs.9000/-per month
- Diploma Apprentice: Rs.8000/-per month
- ITI Apprentice: Rs.7000/-per month
Non-Engineering – General Stream
- Graduate Apprentice (B.Com./ B.Sc. / B.A / BCA / BBA): Rs.9000/-per month

- Graduate Apprentice Trainees – Engineering (B.E / B.Tech. / Equivalent) , Graduate Apprentice Trainees – Non-Engineering (B.Com. / B.Sc. / B.A BCA / BBA), Diploma Apprentice Trainees / ITI Apprentice Trainees: Depending upon the vacancies available in various disciplines, the selection of candidates will be carried out by shortlisting on the basis of Academic Merit/Written Test/Interview as required, subject to satisfactory verification of the documents.

How to Apply for DRDO GTRE Apprentice Recruitment 2023
Candidates must satisfy themselves, before applying, about their eligibility for the post. Candidates are, therefore, advised to carefully read the advertisement and complete the application form and submit the same as per the instructions to avoid rejection later.
Step 1: Applications are to be submitted online through the following website/link: rac.gov.in or drdo.gov.in (‘What’s New’ section)
Step 2: Candidates are requested to fill up the correct details against all the fields along with uploading scanned copies of all the mandatory documents (as per the list).
Step 3: The marks obtained in the qualifying exam are to be mentioned in percentage. In the case of CGPA, candidates are requested to convert the CGPA into percentages as per their university norms and the same will be verified during document verification.
Step 4: Candidates are required to bring a signed printout of the application along with the originals of the documents submitted online at the time of joining GTRE, Bengaluru.
Step 5: Online Applications after the last date would NOT be accepted. Incomplete or partially filled application forms would not be accepted.
